My Place Sports Bar & Grill

UPDATED (07/18/07): The Web site for My Place Sports Bar & Grill is www.myspace.com/myplacemd. (The site that I previously referenced, www.myplacemd.com, is under construction.) I dropped by My Place Sports Bar & Grill last week and had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners. Great crowd, good atmosphere. I went on a weekday night in the evening. I plan to drop by another night for more detailed review. In the meantime, I found out that the full launch will be in the Fall.
I hadn’t been over to Mitchellville Plaza in a while (the shopping plaza with the Food Lion, Negril, Popeyes, etc. on Central Avenue near the route 193 intersection) and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the space where Henry’s Soul Cafe used to be is now My Place Sports Bar & Grill.
I have found virtually no information about My Place Sports Bar & Grill online other than a link to their Web site (http://myplacemd.com/), which is currently under construction, and Yellow Pages contact information. I will update this post when I get additional information. In the meantime, I will plan to check out My Place Sports Bar & Grill after work one day this week. I wonder if it’s anything like Reggie’s Sportz Kafe. And remember, we have The Sideline upscale sports bar coming to The Blvd. this Fall, which is Lavar Arrington’s latest venture. Lots of options!
