There was an article, “Of Curls and Cultures - At the Dominican Salon, a Tangled History All Comes Out in the Wash, and Set” in the Washington Post today about Sashelvis Hair Salon, which is a Dominican hair salon in the Washington D.C. area.

there’s another in the Wheaton area Sandra’s Beauty Salon and Spa, I travel 45 minutes every other week just to go to this place. All of the hairdresser are from Dominican Republic.

There’s another salon in Adams Morgan in Washington DC. JUDITH DOMINICAN STYLE is at 2407 18th St. NW Washington DC 20009. Their number is 202.232.6191.

There is a new salon called Sintia’s Dominican Salon with Dominican styles in Landover, MD near FedEx Field.

You are missing Melania’s Hair Salon on New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD. They also have a barbershop and I get my eyebrows waxed as well.
